At The Vine, community groups of every size, shape and flavor meet weekly or every other week all over McHenry county. Each of these groups has its own personality, and each would welcome you with open arms ... whether you're just visiting to check it out or want to stay awhile. There is always an open chair with your name on it.

Jeff Block, Minister of Community Life about the possibility of leading a community group at The Vine. No advanced degrees required, no super-human abilities -- just a heart for God and for others, and for walking with them on their spiritual journey.

Ascension Ed and Becca Bachner		The Ascension Community Group is a fun, thriving, Biblical community for twenty-something's and those young at heart. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month at 6:30PM, when the Bachners prepare dinner for the group, followed by study in God's Word.
F.O.C.U.S. Steve and Sharon Wilhelm		FOCUS stands for "Families of Christ Uniting and Sharing". The FOCUS Community Group is an extended family, formed through fellowship, accountability and intentional love. Childcare is provided, and kids are encouraged to share in their own community at meetings. FOCUS meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at 5:30PM.
L.I.F.E. Jim and Deanna Hannis		LIFE stands for "Living In Faith Eternally". The LIFE Community Group is a committed community, in which we support each other emotionally, spiritually and physically. They meet in Woodstock on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month at 7PM.
Unity Carlos and Michelle Garcia		The Unity Community Group is a group dedicated to strengthening families through Bible study, prayer, and fellowship as a community. Childcare is provided, and kids are encouraged to come and share in their own community at meetings. Unity meets in Union on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month at 7PM.
W.E.B.S. Frances Gehrke		The Women's Evening Bible Study is a community group that exists to experience God through His Word. They meet on Monday nights at 6:30PM in Woodstock at The Vine Ministry Center.
W.M.B.S. Tammy Martinez		The Women's Morning Bible Study is led by Tammy Martinez. The group exists to create a place of community for women in the middle of their busy day around God's Word and prayer. Childcare is provided. The WMBS group meets every Wednesday from 9:15-11AM at The Vine Ministry Center in Woodstock.
Wonder Lake Rob and Kim Marshall		The Wonder Lake Community Group is committed to intentionally growing together in Christ through Bible study, fellowship and sharing life experiences. Childcare is provided, and kids are encouraged to come and share in their own community at meetings. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month at 7PM.
